Wofford Fight Song

[OL FU]

While looking at the Wofford board Ruckus mentioned that Wofford didn't have a fight song so I decided to write one for them. Here is a start, please feel free to add as you see fit.

Still a little leary of the pep band. Playing in a 3000 seat basketball arena is one thing; but an outdoor 13000 seat stadium is another. Still wish we had a fight song.

To which 13,000 seat outdoor is he referring.  Gibbes holds nowhere near that many, unless you include the parking lots, and half of downtown Spartanburg.

The fight song is whatever the DJ pulls out of the rack.

That is correct Gibbs paid for 8,000 seats and nobody has paid a dime for one since.

They have repeated the lie so many times for so many years it has become underporch dog  legend

I've been in that 13K seat stadium several times.  I think they meant 13,000 LEGS.

I believe they count the grassy knolls in the capacity.  There's a lot of mystery when it comes to grassy knolls.

Actually they're talking about a pep band which would fit in Gibbs. But they'll prolly pipe it thru the PA system.
